The Manchester molecular pathology node aims to create an environment that facilitates the development of new diagnostics and molecular pathology tests.
Manchester Molecular Pathology Innovation Centre is one of six molecular pathology nodes funded by MRC and EPSRC.
The other nodes are led by:
- Newcastle University
- Edinburgh University
- University of Glasgow
- University of Nottingham
- University of Leicester.
The molecular pathology nodes have a remit to cooperate as a network to assist the evaluation, rollout and diffusion of new tests and related technologies.
This aim is supported by regular meetings and ongoing dialogue between the nodes and their staff members. MMPathIC is happy to act as a link to the wider node network for researchers and industry partners with whom we work.
